Ivilis sits at the desk in the Library atop the temple of Cylad, pondering the recent dreams he has been having. His father had told him what his and his sister's destiny held. Waht it was they were expected to accomplish, but until now Ivilis did not understand the role he was to play. He pulls a clean piece of parchment from a drawer in the desk, dips his quill in the ink well, and begins to write.

In a time of grea turmoil in the land, when the clans of Tharel struggle for power, and it seems that the events of the past will repeat themselves once more, a new clan will arise. This clan shall be called Eternity, and it's members will struggle to prevent the past from repeating itself. And they will seek out the Rod of Destruction so it can be destroyed once and for all. Not all in the land will agree with the actions that Eternity must take, and many will strike out at them, seeking to prevent them from succeeding. Therefore it shall come to pass that a small group will be formed within the clan, to protect the others as they go about there task At the head of this group will be the able-bodied human, known as Ivilis Valos. On the day this comes to pass, he shall forever after be known as the Leader of the Guardian's of Fate...

Ivilis quietly sets down his quill, takes the parchment, and drops it into the flames burning low in the fireplace. He then quietly leaves the library, closing the door behind him.
