Just Another Story, of some sort.
« on: April 08, 2010, 06:35:21 am »
Ooc:Yugi's just an odd char... so... I decided to actuallly write down part of his story, if your not interested, dont read.. oh and apolgies on my odd writing form, shush.

And now onto the story yay!

Things had occurred before this day, which day this was Yugithzale couldn?t remember exactly, time had always flown with such inconsistency in his room, often he would be lost for several somethings at a time, and would never bother to ask what time it truly was. His room was a room, quite big, he was proud of this actually, from what dim memories he could recall, he remembered the others, the less important ones, they did not have a room as well furnished or as lovely as his. 4 thick stone walls, from which muffled the sounds from the outside, he was always truly alone and at peace, never would he hear anything from the outside, and again this made him feel so very important.

It was Full of furnishings of the finest wood, sturdily constructed, so as to resist the weight of things many times bigger than themselves. In the corner of the room, stood a large iron door, leading to what was a closet, sometimes he would go in hide in there, at first when he was told to get inside, he had always found it somewhat scary, and intimidating to look inside, and see the rusted protrusions within the small space itself, and the closet door. He had grown used to it in time, and as long as he stayed still, he felt safe, and for lack of a better term, comfortable.  Positioned carefully in the center of a room, was a large sturdy ebony table, an elaborate craft which ad been stained a dark brown. When he laid down, he was the center of attention. He was the only thing in the world, and how he felt on the inside, was an experience he never truly had forgotten. There had been other things in this room, but there were so many, and all so different, and varied, that he had long ago forgotten the things he had endured, but those experiences had always stayed with him. The one thing he still remembered vividly was the other who was with him, the only one he had met more than once in his life.

The woman was a being of being of beauty to him, he always felt he would see her often, and when she would come in, she would close the door, a large bang could be heard, he always had thought to try and repair that door on many an occasion, but felt he lacked the skills to complete such a monumental task. This time, was no different, the woman had entered the door way, and moved with such swiftness, and such ferocity, a hunter in search of her prey. She almost at once hovered over him, scanning him over quickly with her eyes, analyzing him, debating over him. It always brought him such pride over how much she thought about him. With a gleeful smile he raised his head to look up at her.

?Mistress, it is a pleasure to see you again? I hope you have been well?

?Perhaps, little one, it has been a while sense I have last played with you.?

She always talked with a flat tone he had wondered one day. Something he always had wondered actually, how she displayed so little emotion when she was around him. Sometimes she was loud, and frightening. Her hand moved forward to encompass the side of his head, and squeezed into his temples, a loving caress from her. He had always been loving of the affection he had shown her, how he was often times when they were alone like this, the only thing on her mind.

He moved gleefully forward to embrace her, and she shifted back, always she moved away, and it was  a sort of game he figured, for the reward was always worth it. Once he had latched onto her hip and buried his head into her stomach, he felt the sharp piercing warm that he had been desiring, permeate through is back, something he had always missed from her. He would always feel cold afterwards. For some strange reason, whenever she would visit, the room would be covered in odd wet and sticky substances, and he would find it very difficult to sleep.  When he would awake the substance was gone, and only a few dried flakes were ever a hint to him that something had been there in the first place. After their loving embrace, he felt her move away, and he heard the sound of her moving towards the center of the room, and to the table, he was quick to follow her and get up on the table beside her. Sitting on the table, peering blankly out into the darkness that enveloped him, he smelt the dirt and soil that invaded his nostrils, and the faint steel that laid about him. He heard the sharpening of a blade and he shifted nervously on the table, for even though the enjoyment and attention was so close, he was reminded of a few hours before.

?Mistress??

There was silence

?I saw another woman today, do you know her??

?Know who??

?I do not know? I cannot remember her.. she smelled of lilac and lavender?

?Smelled of? such things do not matter, did she talk with you child??

He fidgeted nervously on the table, and he heard a the clink of some metal hitting the table next to him gently as her hand firmly grabbed his arm and lifted it quickly and forcefully above his head

?Who??

?I do not know.. she told me things.. taught me things?

There was silence, he could not see her face, but when she was quiet, it was only when she was thinking he assumed.. or paying attention to him. He waited patiently for her response but all he could hear were the sounds of her breathing as he waited. The silence continued for over  what he felt were several minutes, but it could have been hours. He thought back to that time with the woman, when she had come to him, when she had told him of things, of this woman, of how he should repay her for her kindness. With that a small delicate hand lifted the small steel blade off the table.

When they were finished he stood off to the side near a corner, often as he was ordered to, it was habitual now. It had been a long time sense he had heard so much noise, the screaming and the pain. His body was again covered in that odd sticky substance, something he was never quite used to, but it only covered his front this time, and this struck him as odd, almost as odd as even after what he assumed was a few hours, perhaps days, Vinya had yet to leave the room. He still stood in the corner however, waiting for that resounding soft click of her exit.

The Aftermath: The Fate of a house.
« Reply #1 on: April 10, 2010, 05:31:39 pm »

It was after a few days before he had gathered enough strength, and courage to leave. It was on the first day that the drow had discovered Vinya, peacefully asleep, or more accurately, what was left of her was at peace. The one to discover the body was her eldest daughter,  as hauntingly beautiful to him as the original that had sired her he supposed. She walked t o him kneeling in front of him, her eyes glinting with some sort of scheme.

?Such a clever little pixie, how did you even manage to do such a thing??

He was silent for a few seconds, the concept of her death had not yet really truly set into his mind and soul. Such concepts were beyond him, that anyone or anything could be taken from him. His eyes shifted cautiously to the corpse, seeing her lifeless still body, bathed in a green light which seemed to crawl from outside the open door..

?I do not.. Remember?

?Well if you did kill her.. I would have to kill you, but if it I..?

The eldest one trailed off, her snow white hair falling off her shoulders, long white tendrils of silk, the sheen radiating the green light from outside. He made no move to stop or contain her, for to die? like her.. to never be able to experience the pleasures of the world seemed foreign and disturbing..

Thus it was decided, the eldest daughter had cleverly used her slaves, contacts and informants within the house to murder her own mother. Those that resided within the house claimed she was brilliant, wonderful, intelligent, and too clever. There were whispers of lies and foul play, and as with keeping with appearances, the pixie that would be known as Yugithzale was given more freedom, to explore the outside world.

To see the vaulting cavernous ceilings, all manners of beasts, and the size of the rooms that had existed outside, it humbled him.. slightly. It was on the first day, that he could barley move outside without feeling like the wide space was sucking the air out of his lungs. This was quickly rectified by a lashing of sorts, though the pleasurable sensations were nothing compared to before.

The house had known peace for a week, relatively speaking for any Drow house in a civil war, those that supported the sister?s other than the eldest, seemed to disappear without a trace, all killed under mysteriously similar circumstances.  He did infact enjoy giving others the pleasure he had felt at the hands of his mistress, the beauty and the blood, all combined into one.

Oh yes? the blood

Never had he seen such a substance before, but it was oddly familiar, he had felt something like it many a time before, and its alien yet familiar nature perplexed him to no end. Constantly, everyone screamed, everyone feared it, the sight of their own blood, many of his victims would go into silent states of shock, completely unaware of his work, what he was gifting them with. It was something he could not understand. It was on the 8th day that he inquired to the eldest one, as to the nature of his work, of blood, and what he was doing.

The Eldest one who at this time, had rooted out and had assassinated all 3 of her sisters, was now content for idle chatter.. for now

?Blood is the life of a mortal, you are the tool which extracts it from them, sapping their life? in most tortuous pain, granting them a slow horrible death?

This was most perplexing to him, that his work caused him pain, and just to see if she told the truth, he tried a little experiment once more. It was after his work was done and the blood- the substance of life dripped down his arm and fingers that he left. As he walked down the main hall, a man, not of drow decent, for his skin was white, whiter than his, so pale that the cheek bones shown through stood in the center of the hallway.
Those who walked around him, or even just lived around him seemed to wither away, as if he was a sun too hot and too bright for them. His eyed were a pale white, with no pupils, but it seemed as though two bright glowing green lights seemed to shine behind them. Drab in a black cloak, with the hood pulled over his head, he seemed more imposing than he should be for such a small and boney frame.

?You have done well, your gifts are well received pixie, but you still have much to do?

It was at the close of the 3rd month that the Other houses finally had made contact of any sort with the Eldest ones house, and only through scouts and infiltration. From wha could be told that the dead lay in the halls and kitchen, the bedrooms and baths. There skin ripped from their bones, the muscle had been butchered off the bones, and most peculiar enough was the skulls missing from every body. To those curious few who had heard of the rumors from informants of a pixie murderer, they thought confused thoughts, at the lack of one small corpse. That however was the last thought in anyone?s mind as a larger mystery remained, a skull sat upon the chair of the house, its eyes emblazoned with two large emeralds,

It was after he finished giving his gifts.. his love to them, that he decided to leave.
When he left his home, he remembered it as a coffin, something small and confined compared to the underdark, with caverns stretching for miles, he felt it would be several hours before he reached the surface. His travels would take him far and wide, this much he was certain at the time, but what he would encounter was beyond him. The man, the lich of sorts, walked along side him, the shape of his head had long ago disappeared after they had left, and to keep himself from standing out, he held the hood of his cloak up with his right hand, giving it some semblance of a circle.

The other, as he called him more often than not, had decided that a life underground was too stressful a life for someone such as himself, the pixie. Thus he was being escorted, forced or dragged in some manner to the top itself. Such concepts boggled him, the outside world was something even greater and more expansive? However his companion merley glided along on the floor and continued their travels. It was a few days before they finally reached the surface, and with each passing hour his companion seemed to grow more violent and hostile, but they at last had reached the pathway up.

He was alone again.. all alone exploring the path, subsisting off of  the glowing fungi that illuminated his pathway upwards. The bright path seemed to guide him upwards towards the heave, and a life he was afraid of. He continued onward however and would eventually reach the top, and when he took his first step outside, the sunshine blinded his eyes and his mind, his fears rushed through him and he stared at the sky, and his insignificance, his weakness, and a distrust in gravity began to set in. It would not be for another 3 days till he left the confines of the underdark, not one of these days did he have the bravery or the courage to fall forever, into a void and die of starvation, of fear, and perhaps suffocation. He made his first steps out into the world, and he breathed deep, the scents of nature, foreign, and untrustworthy filled his nostrils yet again, and he continued on his journey.

In his travels he would meet a two women.. one was a figure of beauty, serenity, grace and familiarity, though her skin was pale, her shape reminded him of his home. The other, was less familiar, though it was nothing like the Duegar or gnomes? she stood at his height, and had beautiful transparent wings, something that he did not understand himself.  He traveled with them for a time, using them to teach him of the outside world, of nature, and the nature of himself, but he found this incredibly dull and boring, and was  constantly striving for something new and exciting, but he had at least found peace in his travels.

The Familiar one talked to him of his own wings, their similarity, and how he was born, his life, his hopes, his dreams, petty things he could care less about, but her skin was smooth and silky? and for once he was taller than someone else, so he humored her and tried to stay around her as much as possible, if not for companionship, than for his own pride. The Home-like one was much taller than even his mistresses he supposed, but his mind had long ago tried to forget those days, and the specifics of them were faint in his mind. She tried to teach him of nature, of the beauty of the world, and how to live within it, and the harmony of these things. She too, was useless to him, but he saw his home within her, and made no attempt to flee the scene, it was?. Tolerable to say the least.

That was when he met another one of those apparitions, that seemed to appear in the times of contentment. This one was not like the others, This one did not hide from the world, This one did not hide from him. He awoke in the middle of the night, and turned to look at his companions, who seemed to be missing from the camp. The Pixie stood?
Someone nearby spoke with such excitement and tenacity that he barley could understand.

?Ah you are up finally.. this is good! Very good It was getting? dull, you know? So very very very dull, how can I find things to entertain me?if there is no one??

He turned to face the final one, a man standing over 7 feet, who seemed to have more bone and skin to his body than he had any sort of muscle. His hair, red and emblazoned in a matted mess that seemed to stretch all the way down his back and those eyes.. the horrible eyes that seemed to judge him, not like property, but something else.. Something unsettling for even him.

?You do give the most wonderful gifts, I see what the others said was true, yes very true, it seemed delightful I suppose?

The pixie contented himself with silence, for the taller one demanded the conversation, and made no immediate indication that he wished for any interruption. The large one moved close, and knelt in front of him, stroking his face casually, as if inspecting a sheet of silk, examining his skin.

?I have been waiting here.. for so very long for you?.?

There was a pause n his voice as he looked curiously at him

?What are you called??
?Th-?
?It doesn?t matter, if you are to accept gifts yourself, you must have a name suitable for it, you shall take the name Yugithzale, after all, if you are to be as great as myself, you need my name.? The demon thought before continuing. It was a pleasure to meet you, and for you to give such gifts to others.. I suppose I should leave you now Yugithzale, try not to get into? too much trouble before we meet you again?

A sensation, a mixture of that which he was familiar with.. and enjoyed, mixed with something far more sinister filled his body as the hands of the large one gripped around his throat throttling him.  The Original Yugithzale had begun to fade away, but in his mind?s eye he could see the outline of his face, still grinning in delight as his hands around his throats fled to the ether and away.

It was now that he peered about himself. On a rock not 10 feet lay a scene so eerie and familiar to him, it was as if he had seen himself for the first time. There the Familiar one lay, staring up at the night sky, as if she had decided that something there, was far more interesting than the world around her. He peered up curiously, but alas could not find anything of interest similar to them. The Home-like one was sitting on the side, her frame larger than that of the rock, and she seemed to have gone asleep, a long time ago, long having left the world for that of Mahrina, and so they laid, unmoving, stuck, the grass, wet, the rock dried and caked with a substance he had come to know a long time ago.
